|
In the
Vocal Chunks BEGINNER level you can find monodic compositions containing
different rhythmic solutions, although still remaining within a
moderate level of complexity.
The choir will be able to work on slightly more ornamented melodies
and will practice in managing and coping with their modal or tonal
structure.
The polyphonic repertoire will offer a wide range of Chorals, Laude,
and accessible Songs; beyond there will be some ne-pace or imitative
Mothets for 4 voice parts as well, which are limited to a maximum
of 40/45 beats and which are also characterized by the ease of their
melodic lines and by not too convoluted polyphonic textures.
Final goals are: the achievement of a certain taste and sensitivity
for the modal tones and a fair progress into the practicing of polyphonic
compositions, while even starting making sense of the many different
performing ways
