The Vocal
INTERMEDIATE Level 6 will introduce the choir into the various existing
polyphonic styles, here still performed within a range of 5/6 different
voice parts.
This wide choice is provided by an accurate selection of compositions
coming from very different musical environments, schools and traditions.
The monodic repertoire will challenge the choir hability to cope
with compositions showing a considerably extensive melodic evolution
and many rythmic variations; beyond that there will be also the
need to proceed with very different ways of dealing with text arrangements
and adaptations as well.
Final goals are: deepening the choir experience and keeping on carefully
paying attention on the stylistic and historic components of the
many compositions, while also gaining a wider insight on the repertoire
in its whole.
